Bome's MP3 Renamer V1.00

This program helps you in automatically renaming a large number of files. It allows you to rename your files with specified rules. You can also include the file's folder and parent folder names as part of the new name.

Example

Imagine you have ripped the CD Peak Position by Phoneheads. In the folder \Phoneheads\Peak Position\ there are a number of files like:

01 Phoneheads - Montana.mp3 02 Phoneheads - Syrinx.mp3 etc...

However, I like to have my mp3 files, e.g. in this format:

Parent Folder - Folder - Track# - Trackname.mp3

No problem for Bome's MP3 Renamer ! Just click around to set up the Existing Filename Scheme and New Filename Scheme. Processing and executing the rules to the Phoneheads files above, yields these new names:

Peak Position - Phoneheads - 01 - Montana.mp3 Peak Position - Phoneheads - 02 - Syrinx.mp3 etc...

Note about Bome's tools

This program is part of my tools series. This is a growing selection of tools that I developed for my own usage. The goal of publishing them here is to bring a large number of under-developed programs to you. Typical development time was 1 day. Testing has been forgotten.
Additionally, special attention has been paid to make these tools user-unfriendly and ugly as hulle. Support (if it exists at all) is said to be horrible.

Purchase

After a reasonable trial period, you are asked to purchase Bome's MP3 Renamer to support its development on a voluntary basis.
There are 2 possibilities:

Pay the license fee		Send a postcard
Pay a license fee of 20 euros (approx. US$ 26). You will be registered as licensed user, although there is no license key or full version. The download version is the full version. You can pay online using secure credit card transactions. Other means of payment are available, too. Commercial users (i.e. anyone making money using the software) are asked to acquire a license through payment.		There is an alternate method to acquire a license. Please allow 4-10 weeks for delivery and processing of the postcard. See the Postcardware page for more details.

Site licenses and deployment on shared or public computers require a separate license agreement.
